COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GOALS

Business Structure and Budget

Detroit Go Club is a Goban (Go board) Manufacturer that provides spaces and equipment for active Go clubs around Metro-Detroit. Club membership growth and value adding Go related product releases are the two sides of our business model coin.

Promoting and teaching Go as a fine art in Detroit is our first priority. We believe developing an active Go community in Detroit will have a positive impact on mental and emotional health in the community (as it’s been shown to radically impact in other cities that have adopted a system of development)

We are raising $2500.00usd to kickstart our community development program and grant us enough buying power to reach our first year goals. (listed below)

Having a catalog of unique and popular Go merchandise and equipment allows us to sustain and service active Go clubs in Metro-Detroit. It also allows us to gain pre-funding to organize and promote pop festivals integrating local food, music, art and Go together for cross pollination and integration into the local community.
