Walla Sound Studio is currently developing Detroit Go Club, a Not-for-profit focusing on spreading and teaching the game of Go. These Go clubs will funnel into quarterly tournaments and a yearly “Detroit Go Open” tournament that is paired alongside popular music festivals to begin to integrate Go into Detroit culture.

We believe pairing live music festivals and Go tournaments wildly increases cross pollination and exposes the right target audience to both communities (The world of Go and the the local music community) which have been proven to elevate local economies and drastically improve communities mental health awareness.
